family farming

My parents were visiting this week from Massachusetts, where they've gotten about 10 feet of snow since January. I took some time off to help them enjoy the sunshine, but the farm must go on, so yesterday they gamely helped me sow a bunch of seeds in the greenhouse. Together, we seeded lettuce, parsley, spinach, eggplant, and sweet and hot peppers. What a team!

Farming is a nice change from shoveling snow!
