ghost critters

One of the fun things about putting fabric down on the fields (as ground cover, insect barriers, etc.) is it gives me a glimpse of who visits the farm when I'm away. Here are a few that I have "captured" in recent weeks.

This coyote's toenails put holes my brand-new row cover. Hopefully it at least ate some voles in exchange!
skunk? raccoon? baby sasquatch?
Some animal signs are much easier to interpret, at least once you see them. For this one, the worried parent circling the area was the giveaway.

Ground-nesting song bird nest. So obvious once you've seen it, but easy to miss!
